CORPORATE REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY |
- A minimum of one director for profit corporations and a minimum of three directors for non-profit corporations are required
- A numbered company is possible in New Brunswick
- A numbered "corporation" is an entity that is issued a number by the corporate registry such as "842613 New Brunswick Ltd."
- The objective of a numbered company is to avoid having to do a Name Search (Name Reservation)
- The entity is assigned the next sequential number issued by the Ministry in the jurisdiction. It cannot be self-selected
- The Annual Return is used to update the registry records of any changes
- The Annual Return is due on the anniversary date of the registration
