- A numbered company is possible in Quebec
- A numbered "corporation" is an entity that is issued a number by the corporate registry such as "842613 Quebec Inc."
- The objective of a numbered company is to avoid having to do a Name Search (Name Reservation)
- The entity is assigned the next sequential number issued by the Ministry in the jurisdiction
- It cannot be self-selected
- A minimum of one director for profit corporations and a minimum of three directors for non-profit corporations are required
- Corporate indicators must be in French: Ltee, Inc. etc.
- An annual declaration must be filed
