The Yukon Territory is in the far northwestern part of mainland Canada. Its borders lie with British Columbia to the south, Northwest Territories to the east and Alaska is on the west. The population of the Yukon Territories is approximately 31,000.

| LAW AND TAXATION |
As a Territory of Canada, the Yukon Territory has a parliamentary system of government. The Yukon Territories government is made up of ministries, agencies and other offices.

| CORPORATE REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY |
- Business Corporations Act requires a registered office in the Yukon Territory
- A minimum number of directors is one (1)
- Shares do not have par value. If there are two or more classes, special rights, privileges and restrictions must be provided
- A numbered company is possible in the Yukon Territory
- A numbered "corporation" is an entity that is issued a number by the corporate registry such as "842613 Y.T. Ltd."
- The objective of a numbered company is to avoid having to do a Name Search (Name Reservation)
- The entity is assigned the next sequential number issued by the Ministry in the jurisdiction. It cannot be self-selected
- The Annual Return is due on the anniversary date of the registration
