INTRODUCTION |
The Island of Nevis is located in the Eastern Caribbean and is 36 square miles. The population in Nevis is approximately 8,000. Since gaining independence in 1983, the Federation has had a history of political stability. The Federation is an active member of the British Commonwealth and the United Nations.

LAW AND TAXATION |
No taxes are levied upon income, dividends or distributions of a Nevis company which are not earned on the island. Nevis is a democracy based upon the British Parliamentary system with an elected local assembly.

CORPORATE REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY |
- Only Domestic filings are offered by CSC in Nevis
- A minimum of one director is permitted when there is one shareholder
- Every non-resident exempt company must maintain a president, secretary and treasurer or a managing director and secretary. No annual or other reports by shareholders or directors are required to be filed in the public records of Nevis
- Changes of shareholders, directors or officers need not be reported to the Registrar of Companies in Nevis
- Fees are not based on capital stock
- The Nevis' Registrar is very similar to Delaware rules and regulations
- The annual requirements are simply to pay the annual franchise tax
