| INTRODUCTION |
The Marshall Islands consist of a group of islands in the South Pacific. They are located between Indonesia and Hawaii. The Republic of the Marshall Islands became an independent and sovereign nation in 1986 after signing the Compact of Free Association with the United States. The Marshall Islands became a full member of the United Nations in 1991.

| LAW AND TAXATION |
The Marshall Islands does not base government fees on stock, however a capital tax is charged if the total capital exceeds $50,000. No capital tax is added if 500 shares at no par value or shares with par value do not exceed $50,000.

- CSC forms non-resident companies in the Marshall Islands. (These are companies that do not conduct business in the Marshall Islands)
- A non-resident domestic corporation is quickly and easily formed
- A minimum of one director is required
- Every non-resident domestic company must have a secretary and may have officers, however designated, as provided for in the articles of incorporation or bylaws
- Directors and officers may be corporations or individuals
