What's your full title and how long have you been in this position?

I’m a customer service associate in the Litigation Management Department. I've been here since June 2022. I work remotely from Longmont, Colorado.

What does a regular day look like?

I handle processing for all sorts of litigation documents that come through, ranging from summons and complaints to subpoenas and garnishments and everything in between. The main goal is to get those out as efficiently and effectively as possible for our clients to ensure a timely service. I find a lot of value in this line of work, with the detail-oriented processing and data entry. It's something I really enjoy.

What did you do before you came to CSC?

I was a processor and post closer for a real estate law firm. It was litigation, but nothing like what I've been dealing with since being here. It's been a whole new world.

What made you decide to apply to CSC?

I was looking at jobs online and honestly, CSC’s Top Workplace ad piqued my interest. I started scrolling on Indeed.com and reading further into CSC and how much they value their people—I could see that was the case through my own research. I decided to apply and here I am.

Tell us about your team.

It’s a good, strong group. We’re determined to make things happen for our clients. Everybody I've interacted with is so hardworking—there's a certain pride we take in our work and representing CSC as a whole.

What do you like best about the culture at CSC?

CSC as a whole genuinely wants you to succeed and to thrive within the company. We get emails about job openings that encourage hiring from within if there's another position that you’re interested in. I've never seen anything like that. You can tell that CSC really values their employees. I'm also so thankful for the opportunity to work from home. I feel more effective in my work when I log in every day.

What's the most interesting thing about your job?

Seeing all the different litigation that comes through is fascinating. When I worked in real estate, everything was cut and dry when it came to the mortgage world. But within Litigation Management at CSC, I feel like I learn something new every day, whether it's about certain jurisdictions and their rules or what we can do and provide for clients and personalize their experience. When I first started here, I didn't know anything about the litigation processes, and I had limited knowledge about what a registered agent was, but you really get the support and resources here that you need to do well. Every day I’m learning.

How's the work-life balance?

It's beautiful. At the end of the day, I just shut off my computer and I’m done. I’m not stressed, and CSC is really good about encouraging you to take time off. They have a strong belief in taking care of their employees and their well-being, which is awesome.

What advice would you give someone looking for a job at CSC?

As long as you show drive and determination, CSC will see you. They want you to be part of this growing company—they take care of you, look to educate you, and want to keep good people around.
