Will lead company's successor trustee and default administration group

Wilmington, DE, August 13, 2012  CSC Trust Company of Delaware, a subsidiary of global services firm Corporation Service Company® (CSC®), today announced the appointment of Sandra E. Horwitz as managing director of its successor trustee and default administration group. CSC Trust is an independent, non-depository provider of corporate trust, escrow, and agency services headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.

A seasoned restructuring and corporate trust professional, Ms. Horwitz will be responsible for expanding CSC Trust's corporate trust services into this new arena, including both fulfillment and business development duties. She will also be involved in a number of other services, including CSC's independent director for distressed companies offering.

Ms. Horwitz is a 29-year veteran of the financial services industry with specialties in a multitude of domestic and international products, including loan workouts, leveraged finance, syndicated lending and capital markets fundraising. She joins CSC Trust from HSBC Bank USA, NA, where she served as vice president for the Bankruptcy/Default Group, Corporate Trust & Loan Agency. In her role as indenture trustee, she was responsible for representing unsecured bondholders on more than 20 Chapter 11 statutory creditors' committees and in numerous cross-border restructuring proceedings. Prior to that, Ms. Horwitz worked at Crédit Lyonnais, where she focused on loan workouts and managed universal banking relationships with financial institutions and multinational corporations.

Ms. Horwitz holds an MBA from Columbia University, a master's in public administration from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
